We traveled to Arkansas for the first time in October of 2023. We journeyed its rolling roadways through the Ouachitas and Ozarks and down to the center of the state at Hot Springs, where Arkansas begins to flatten out and eventually meet the Delta country of the Mississippi. In only three days we had a limited amount of time for hiking and wildlife seeking, but we still discovered some interesting animals and plants along the way.
