My hobbies are various forms of art (painting, woodburning, and photography) and travel (with lots of outdoor pursuits involved). So rather than limit myself to choosing one topic for this blog, I decided to combine them into Trav-Art.

Over the years I’ve been many places, hiked many trails, saw many sunsets, and captured much of what I found in photos and in paint. My family of four are eager participants in the adventures. I’m happy to share what I know from all these years and look forward to continuing to add to the site over time.
