When I first saw Rainier from the window of an airplane on the return flight from Alaska, I decided that the next time I saw that great mountain it would be from ground level. Washington state became I priority of mine and in June of 2009 we arrived, ready to explore the great parks, the city of Seattle, and venture by ferry to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
